| Contacted the company in July when we were starting to get bids on our kitchen and family room. They told me on the phone that they were booked until September but that they would be happy to come out and give me an estimate and maybe if the price was right i would want to wait. I had them come out a few days later. They followed up promptly as i was told with an estimate. The estimate was good and we set the date for September. They called me a couple of times prior to that to make sure that I had gotten the counter tops ordered and that i still wanted done exactly what i had told them initially. They arrived on time on September 14th and completed the project the next day. They were very prompt, professional, articulate and very nice. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again. They are worth the wait. - Dena W. |
| We had inside work done on an Angies List Big Deal and a fence put up outdoors. Kirk Metz and his partner Ray were professional and competent. They let me know how things would progress, then went ahead as planned, despite rain and high heat. The fence looks great! I appreciated how Kirk arranged to get a state certified surveyor before starting the job, as we requested. We already have jobs scheduled with Heartfelt Properties in the near future and their sign is in our yard. Our home was built in the 60's - Diana T. |
| Name says it all! We found Kirk by purchasing the Angie's List big deal, and boy what a deal it was! Kirk is an exceptionally talented problem-solver and an outstanding person of integrity -- an unusual find in today's world. He has been out twice to help us with our laundry list of house maintenance issues. Each time, he has delivered more than he promised. He is professional, expert, and passionate about helping others with their home improvements. He even called me a few days later to check on the status of our repairs and to let us know of good deal on a garage door opener he had found (we were thinking about replacing one, and spending bout $300 on it, but Kirk found a comparable one for only $130 and wanted to let us know. We later hired him to install it). He also pointed out potential repair issues to other areas of my house as tackled our list ... we are grateful to know about these potential issues so they don't become emergencies later. For instance, as he was weatherizing outdoors, he found a large outdoor storm window that was rotting. If the hadn't pointed this out, it would have rotted through this winter, causing the glass to fall out. I would not hesitate to hire Kirk for maintenance issues or larger projects such as additions, or remodels because I am confident he is honest, reliable and expert. | Kirk is polite, friendly and does excellent work and more than a fair price! I know that someone had posted a review that said he does not show up until later in the morning, usually between 10:00-11:00. While this is true, I am not sure why anyone would care. He has a great work ethic and works hard when he is here. He has small children and as anyone who has had those knows, they get sick, have to be taken to school/day care, etc. Kirk has a job that gives him the flexibility to be there for his family, which I admire. He also will not do anything to your house that he wouldn't do to his. He treats your home as if it were his and is a wonderful, highly skilled craftsman. My house is a "work in progress" and Kirk will be the one I hire as long as he is in business! - Alice S. |
| Kirk came to my home and replaced a kitchen sink faucet for me. The faucet I had to replace was original with the house, so needless to say there were nuts and bolts that were corroded and took a lot of effort to loosen and come off. Once the stubborn nuts and bolts were off, it took Kirk no time at all to install the new faucet. Again, Kirk is very thorough and knowledgeable in all work that he does. He doesn't dilly-dally around and gets the job done. He is also very friendly and polite in his communication. I would recommend Kirk to anyone. - Melanie V. |
